Hiten has worked in property finance since 2008, building a strong reputation for insight, integrity, and results. He leads both Mortimer Street Capital and its sister company, Visionary Finance – a well-regarded mortgage brokerage known for its reach across the UK and international markets. Together, the two firms serve a wide range of clients, from private individuals to large prop co’s and portfolio investors, across the full mortgage and real estate funding markets.

Hiten is a regular voice in industry media and was recently named a Change Maker at the British Mortgage Awards, recognised for his efforts in shaping a more inclusive and balanced sector. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family, watching cricket, and playing golf.

Justin Trowse

Managing Director – Debt Advisory

Featured in the Bridging & Commercial ‘Power List’, Justin brings over 15 years of experience in real estate and funding markets, having held senior roles at leading institutions including LendInvest and Allica Bank. Throughout his career, he has structured and delivered over £1bn of real estate over a wide range of transactions – from bridging loans and development finance to complex portfolio refinances.

Known for his pragmatic approach and deep market insight, Justin excels at navigating challenging funding scenarios and aligning capital solutions with clients’ strategic goals. He has a strong track record of working with private investors, developers, and family offices across the UK property market.

At Mortimer Street Capital, Justin leads the debt advisory function, focusing on bespoke funding strategies that balance flexibility, speed, and long-term value.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching F1, and playing golf.

Seona Patton

Business Manager – Client Services

Seona brings experience in client services and operational management across the financial and recruitment sectors. Known for her proactive approach and attention to detail, she ensures that clients receive seamless support throughout their financing journey.

At Mortimer Street Capital, Seona plays a pivotal role in coordinating between clients, lenders, and internal teams, ensuring that each transaction progresses smoothly and efficiently. Her commitment to excellence and clear communication makes her a trusted point of contact for both new and longstanding clients.

Outside of work, Seona enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new culinary experiences, and staying active through various fitness pursuits.

Matthew Kavanagh

Specialist Finance Consultant

Matt brings over 14 years of combined experience in property and finance. He began his career in London lettings in 2011 before moving into residential mortgage broking. He later joined Christie Finance, where he specialised in commercial mortgages for trading businesses in the care and hospitality sectors.

More recently, Matt has been running his own family property business, focusing on new-build developments and investments in the HMO space. His hands-on experience gives him a strong understanding of what investors and developers need when it comes to funding real-world projects.

Executive Assistant

With over 15 years of experience in providing high-level support to executive leadership, Jody brings a wealth of administrative expertise and a proactive approach to her role.

Known for her can-do attitude and attention to detail, Jody supports both the Managing Director and the wider team, ensuring seamless coordination across various projects. She is instrumental in the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within both Mortimer Street Capital and Visionary Finance.
