Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Property Finance Associate to join our London-based team. This is a choice of either self-employed or employed role with a competitive commission structure, offering full flexibility and access to Mortimer Street Capital’s brand reputation, lender platform, and operational support.
You’ll work closely with a client base of developers, business owners, and property investors, structuring bespoke debt solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use requirements throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on property finance solutions including development finance, commercial mortgages, bridging, refinancing, and owner-occupied lending
- Source and structure tailored debt packages using Mortimer Street Capital’s diverse lender panel
- Build and manage long-term relationships with clients, introducers (such as solicitors, accountants, and agents), and lenders
- Handle the full lifecycle of the transaction – from initial structuring through to drawdown and post-deal servicing
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, lender appetite, and regulatory obligations
- Drive new business through networking, referrals, and strategic introductions

Who We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in agency, property finance, commercial lending, or development funding
- Strong understanding of structuring debt for developers, landlords, and owner-occupiers
- A network of professional contacts and a commercial, client-first mindset
- Ability to manage complex transactions and maintain momentum across multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- CeMAP or equivalent qualification (preferred, but not essential)
